Letter from Sir Graham Henry

Dear New Zealand,

It’s hard to believe that three and a half years have passed since our Stadium of Four Million witnessed the All Blacks win Rugby’s biggest prize, the Webb Ellis Cup, at Eden Park on October 23 in 2011.

One of the many highlights that will stay with me, is looking around and seeing the absolute joy on the faces of those in the stands - people hugging, high-fiving, and even a few tears.

At that stage I said to myself that next time around I’d be one of those people cheering on the All Blacks, and that’s a major reason I am taking a group of passionate All Blacks Fans to England this year for Rugby World Cup 2015.

I’m really looking forward to having a relaxed time, visiting some of the great attractions that England and Wales have to offer, eating and drinking at fantastic restaurants and pubs, and soaking up the atmosphere with like-minded Kiwis.

Today marks just 6 months until the biggest sporting event of the year kicks-off.  Time is running out to secure your place on our team-behind-the-team who will be supporting our boys as they look to go back-to-back and win the Webb Ellis Cup away from home.

Let me tell you there is nothing quite like an experience at Twickenham or inside the enclosed Millennium Stadium with close on 80,000 people.

We will face adversity from those also hoping to claim the Webb Ellis Cup and the title of World Champions.

Are you prepared to stand shoulder to shoulder with your fellow All Blacks fans, to be a believer, to stand above the parapet and not give an inch?

I’m urging you to be there with me, to be part of history.

Sir Graham Henry
All Blacks Fan
