Accredited Journalist to become brand ambassador for the official All Blacks supporters travel company
Auckland. Locally renowned sports journalist Jim Kayes has taken on a new role: effective immediately, the experienced reporter will be representing NZ Rugby's official supporters travel agency, All Blacks Tours, as a brand ambassador. The cooperation is initially signed for the remainder of the 2017 regular season through until the Japan 2019 Rugby World Cup. Jim is very familiar with All Blacks Tours, having recently been involved in various events during the Lions series as well as Bledisloe Cup fixtures.
Born and raised in New Zealand, Kayes has spent most of his working life following the All Blacks around the world having covered nearly 200 tests since 1999 including five World Cups. A former Sports Editor at the Dominion Post in Wellington, he spent six years as the lead rugby reporter at TV3 then two years as the sports presenter on the Paul Henry show.
He's now a regular on Sky Sport's The Breakdown alongside Sir John Kirwan and Jeff Wilson, co-hosts Sunday Sport on Radio Live and writes for allblacks.com.
